One of my goals for this year is to design more surface patterns and make them available for my customers and other makers to create their own clothings or products to sell. I got so many requests from my customers to launch a clothing line with Flowie's patterns. As much as I love the idea and making clothes, I realized that I can't do it all. So, I've decided to stick with what I do best, creating surface patterns. I opened our Spoonflower shop to everyone. You can purchase fabrics directly from there to make your own favorite clothes. I also welcome other makers to use our fabrics in our Spoonflower shop to create products for their customers. I'm slowly adding more designs to our shop. (You probably notice that not all our Flowie patterns are available for purchase. That's because I want to keep our pouch and bag patterns exclusive to Flowie's products only.)
I used some of our fabrics to make dresses for my nieces. The fabric designs I choose are Spring flower, Watercolor bubbles, and Bouquet. I have them printed on cotton poplin ultra. The sewing pattern I use is BurdaStyle Girl's Floral Dress 08/2017 #128A. I brought these dresses back to Taiwan to with me for the Chinese New Year. The girls had so fun modeling the dresses for me. They are so cute!
